Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which he said could have been managed without treatment, but he chose to treat it.
“When I’m given information in time about a potential danger, I want to address it immediately. This is true on the national level and also on the personal level.” He said.
Netanyahu said that at his request, the release of his medical report was delayed by two months so that Iran would not use it against Israel.
He added that he is now in very good physical condition and that the “minor medical issue in the prostate has been completely treated.”
The Israeli prime minister said: “I attended a few short sessions, read a book, and carried on working. The spot has disappeared completely. Thank God, I have overcome this too.”
He also urged Israelis to take care of their health and follow medical advice.
