The Israeli army announced yesterday that it continues to target “terrorist infrastructure” and eliminate militants.
In a statement, the army said that over the past 24 hours it had struck more than 40 “Hezbollah-linked” targets in southern Lebanon.
The statement noted that the attacked sites, including militant headquarters and military buildings, were destroyed.
It emphasized that these sites had been used by Hezbollah members to carry out “terrorist plans against the Israeli army.”
The Israeli army also said it would continue to act against threats to its civilians and military personnel and follow the directives of political leadership.
Israel and Lebanon remain under a ceasefire, but as in the past, it is fragile and subject to violations.
The United States and Israel entered into war against Iran on 28 February 2025, and shortly after, Hezbollah joined the conflict.
Since then, Israel has continuously carried out attacks in southern Lebanon.
