The Taliban said it has sent 530 tons of humanitarian aid worth about $500,000 to Gaza.
According to Taliban deputy spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat, the aid was purchased by a Taliban delegation in Egypt and transported to Gaza via the Rafah crossing.
Fitrat added that the shipment was carried in 42 trucks and includes food items, clothing, and other essential supplies.
The Taliban said the aid is expected to be distributed among around 22,000 families in Gaza.
Gaza has been facing a deep humanitarian crisis since the war that began on October 7, prompting aid shipments from many Muslim and non-Muslim countries.
The Taliban had previously collected donations from people in several provinces to support aid efforts for Gaza.
