Richard Lindsay, the United Kingdom’s special representative for Afghanistan, has announced that his country has allocated an additional £3 million (AFN 257 million) in aid to Afghanistan.
He said that the funds are intended to provide food supplies and support for people affected by natural events and other incidents.
Lindsay added that with this new assistance, the total UK aid to Afghanistan for the current fiscal year reaches £143 million (AFN 13.18 billion).
