The press office of the Taliban governor in Herat announced today (Wednesday, December 3rd) that several trailers specifically designed for transporting liquefied gas were exported from Herat to Russia and Central Asian countries.

These vehicles were manufactured in Herat by a company named ‘Ahan-Bursh’ and were exported to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia.

At a ceremony held for the export of the trailers and to commemorate the 25th round of exports by the ‘Aahan-Buresh’ company, Noor Ahmad Islamjar, the Taliban governor of Herat, said that the export of these trailers is a source of pride for Herat and Afghanistan.

He emphasized that the Taliban offers ‘comprehensive support’ to industrialists, artisans, and investors.

Islamjar appreciated the efforts of companies working to export Afghan products to regional and global markets and said: ‘All grounds for the economic growth of Afghanistan, and particularly Herat, have been provided.’

He said the export of these vehicles to Russia and Central Asia highlights the name and capability of the Afghan nation in the region; a nation whose talent and art, according to him, had been held hostage for the past century.
