The Iranian news agency ISNA reported that 20 “illegal foreign nationals” were killed in three separate road accidents over the past few days in Kerman province.
According to the report, one of the incidents occurred yesterday (Wednesday, 29 April) on the Fahraj and Zahedan road.
Iranian officials said the accident happened after a Peugeot 405 vehicle carrying foreign nationals overturned, killing three passengers on the spot.
The injured, reported to be 10 people, were transferred to “Pastor” hospital for medical treatment.
Although it has not been specified which countries the victims were from, most individuals described by Iranian media as “illegal foreign nationals” are typically Afghan citizens.
