Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee reported that the country’s exports to Afghanistan totaled approximately 85.8 billion Afghanis ($1.3 billion) in the first 11 months of 2025.
During the same period, Afghanistan ranked as Uzbekistan’s third-largest export destination. Russia led with 264.2 billion Afghanis ($4 billion), followed by China with 125.49 billion Afghanis ($1.9 billion).
After Afghanistan, Uzbekistan’s top export destinations included Kazakhstan, Turkey, France, the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan.
Pakistan imported goods worth 21.25 billion Afghanis ($321.8 million) from Uzbekistan during the first 11 months of the year.
Border crossings between Afghanistan and Pakistan have been closed since October 2025 due to conflicts, a development that may negatively affect Pakistan’s imports from Uzbekistan.
Pakistan has relied on access through Afghanistan to reach Central Asian countries.
According to Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee, the country’s total exports in the first 11 months of 2025 amounted to 2.04 trillion Afghanis ($30.9 billion).
