{"id":39552,"date":"2026-04-25T07:24:25","date_gmt":"2026-04-25T02:54:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deeyartelevision.com\/en\/?p=39552"},"modified":"2026-04-25T07:24:27","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T02:54:27","slug":"pakistan-army-says-kills-22-militants-near-durand-line","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deeyartelevision.com\/en\/39552\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan Army Says Kills 22 Militants Near Durand Line"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Pakistan Army said in a statement that it killed 22 members of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during a clash in the Khyber area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the statement, the militants were killed on April 21 in an intelligence-based operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The army added that TTP militants resorted to \u201cindiscriminate firing\u201d out of fear of arrest, resulting in the death of a 10-year-old child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement also alleged that the militants were supported by India and were involved in multiple \u201cterrorist\u201d activities in Khyber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weapons and ammunition were recovered and seized from the killed militants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Pakistan Army said clearance operations are ongoing in the area, and its forces will continue to act under the \u201cAzm-e-Istehkam\u201d campaign to eliminate terrorism backed from abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is Pakistan\u2019s most insecure province.
