{"id":39146,"date":"2026-04-07T13:27:52","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T08:57:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deeyartelevision.com\/en\/?p=39146"},"modified":"2026-04-07T13:27:53","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T08:57:53","slug":"yermekbayev-sco-members-monitor-situation-in-afghanistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deeyartelevision.com\/en\/39146\/","title":{"rendered":"Yermekbayev: SCO Members Monitor Situation in Afghanistan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), told the state news agency TASS that member states are continuously monitoring the situation in Afghanistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that SCO members are currently reviewing the situation in Afghanistan and acknowledge that the country has an impact on the overall regional situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yermekbayev noted that many SCO member states share borders with Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said: \u201cPreviously, we had an active SCO contact group on Afghanistan. Although this group has suspended its activities, Afghanistan remains in the focus of our organization.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Shanghai Cooperation Organization has nine permanent members: Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among these countries, only Russia has recognized the Taliban.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), told the state news agency TASS that member states are continuously monitoring the situation in Afghanistan.
